Gay'S Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
3 medium potatoes
carrots, cooked (optional)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
grated Cheddar cheese
onion

Preparation

Brown meat and drain.
Slice potatoes into a casserole dish. Cook onion with meat as it browns.
Place in layers: meat, potatoes and mushroom soup.
Bake until potatoes are done, about 30 to 35 minutes, at 350\u00b0.
To shorten cooking time, the potatoes may be cooked until tender on the stove.
Sprinkle with cheese for the last 5 minutes.
