Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 (1 oz. each) sq. unsweetened chocolate
2/3 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. Gold Medal all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a baking pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inch. Heat chocolate and shortening in a 3-quart saucepan over low heat until melted; remove from heat.
Stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix in remaining ingredients.
Spread in pan.
Bake until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan, about 30 minutes.
Cool slightly; spread with Glossy Chocolate Frosting.
