Ingredients

2 sticks butter
2 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
favorite jam
Preparation

Cream the sugar and butter with spoon.
Add egg yolks, vanilla and flour; stir until blended.
Make small balls; dip in egg whites, then in chopped nuts.
Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 3 to 5 minutes.
Remove from oven and press your finger in each cookie.
Return to oven and finish baking for 20 minutes.
While the cookies are still hot, put preserves in.
Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
