Freezer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    4 c. broccoli flowerets
    4 c. cauliflower
    1 large carrot, scraped and shredded
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped sweet red pepper
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to
    boil, stirring occasionally.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Cool.
    Combine broccoli and remaining ingredients in a bowl.
    Add vinegar mixture.
    Toss. Pack into 4 (1-pint) freezer containers, filling to 1/2-inch from top.
    Cover, label and freeze up to one month.
    To serve, thaw in refrigerator 8 hours.
    Yields 8 cups.
