Banana Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed bananas (about 3)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sour milk
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Sift flour with baking powder, soda and salt.
Add vanilla to milk. Stir sifted ingredients into butter mixture alternately with milk and bananas.
Beat batter until smooth after each addition.
Bake in 2 greased 9-inch cake pans in moderate 350\u00b0 oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
Place sliced bananas between layers.
Ice top of cake with uncooked lemon icing.
