Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. small pickling cucumbers
    1 qt. vinegar
    fresh dill
    2 qt. water
    1/2 to 2/3 c. salt
Preparation
    Pack cucumbers in jars. Add 1 hot pepper to each jar, if desired.
    Add fresh dill into jars (1 good size sprig per jar). Bring salt, water and vinegar to rolling boil.
    Pour over cucumbers and seal.
