Italian Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. almond paste
    1 c. granulated sugar
    3 egg whites
    2 Tbsp. sifted flour
    1/3 c. powdered sugar
    1/4 c. candied citron and cherries, chopped fine
Preparation
    Work the almond paste with your hands, then proceed to add sugar and egg whites; constantly knead. Now, add flour and powdered sugar to the paste. Line aluminum foil on your cookie sheet. Drop 1/2 teaspoon on your cookie sheet and wait 24 hours until the curing is complete. Now, bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Decorate each cookie with a bright red cherry.
