Molasses Stack Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. molasses
1 c. sugar
1 c. lard or butter Crisco
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. ginger
1/2 c. hot water
3 small eggs
4 c. flour
Preparation

Mix all together.
Turn out dough on well-floured board and knead well.
Add flour to make stiff.
Roll out very thin.
Cut with scalloped pie pan, place in a 9-inch round cake pan and bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
Cool.
