Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    2/3 c. sugar
    3 c. whole milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 plain pastry
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly using fork (do not overbeat eggs).
    Add salt, sugar and vanilla.
    Scald milk and add slowly while stirring.
    Pour filling into uncooked pastry.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake in moderate oven at 300\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
