Turtle Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 oz. pkg. caramels
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    1 c. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Over low heat, combine and melt 1/3 cup milk and caramels.
    Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    In large bowl, mix cake mix, butter and remaining 1/3 cup milk.
    Add nuts.
    Stir by hand (dough will be stiff).
