Tamale Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oil
    1 clove garlic
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can tomatoes or 3 1/2 c. tomato juice
    3 eggs (unbeaten)
    1 to 2 c. ripe olives (whole or chopped)
    2 c. milk
    2 onions, chopped
    1 to 2 lb. hamburger
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can whole kernel corn
    1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Fry onions and garlic slowly in oil until tender.
    Add meat and brown quickly.
    Add green pepper, then other ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Pour into large, greased casserole.
    Cover.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until almost firm.
    Makes 10 servings.
