Quick Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 c. butter
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 box white cake mix
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan with butter.
    Layer cherry pie filling on bottom, then pineapple, then sprinkle dry cake mix over all.
    Melt 1/2 cup butter and pour over the top.
    Add nuts, if desired.
    Bake in oven at 325\u00b0 until golden brown.
