Peppered Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. boneless chuck roast, cut into pieces
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp. salt
2 cubes beef bouillon
1 c. hot water
1 lb. can stewed tomatoes
1 large green pepper, sliced thin
2 Tbsp. cornstarch in 1/4 c. cold water
2 Tbsp. soy sauce and 1 tsp. margarine
Preparation

Brown meat slowly in hot fat (about 15 minutes).
Add onion and garlic last few minutes.
Season with salt and pepper. Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water and add to meat.
Cover and simmer until meat is almost tender (25 minutes or so).
Add tomato and green pepper.
