"Mary'S Beans" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices breakfast bacon
    2 (16 oz.) cans French style green beans
    4 to 5 green onions (onions and blades)
    1/2 bell pepper
    1/2 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1/2 small can water chestnuts
    small amount thyme if desired
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Fry bacon brown in wok or large skillet.
    Crumble crisp bacon up\tin small pieces.
    Chop onions, pepper, mushrooms and chestnuts up\tand
    stir-fry
    in
    the\tbacon
    grease
    for a few minutes. Drain
    beans
    and add to stir-fry.\tAdd bacon pieces and seasonings as desired.
    Stir-fry until hot.
    Very good.
