Butterhorns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. active dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
3 eggs
3 1/2 to 3 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
Preparation

Soften\tyeast in 1/4 cup warm water (110\u00b0). Combine 3/4 cup milk,
scalded,
1/2
cup shortening, 1/2 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons salt; cool to lukewarm. Add 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour;
add yeast and 3 eggs.
Beat well.
