Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. fresh squash
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    3/4 c. sour cream
    1 large carrot, grated
    1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
    1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm dressing
    1/2 stick butter
Preparation
    Cook squash in very small amount of water. Drain and mash. Mix with sour cream and soup. Add onion and carrot. Grease dish. Put squash mixture in dish. Cover with dressing mix and dot with butter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
