Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Granny Smith apples
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. oil
    4 eggs, lightly beaten
    1/4 c. orange juice
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Peel, core and slice apples.
    Combine sugar and cinnamon. Into a bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Gradually stir in oil, lightly beaten eggs, orange juice and vanilla.
    Beat the mixture until smooth.
    Pour half the mixture into a well buttered Bundt pan.
    Arrange half the apple slices on top of batter and sprinkle them lightly with half the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
    Add the remaining batter; top it with the remaining apple slices and sprinkle the cake with the rest of the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
    Bake cake in a moderately slow oven at 325\u00b0 for about 1 1/2 hours or until it tests done.
    Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes.
    Invert it on a cake rack and let it cool completely.
    Ovens vary; your cake may be done in 1 hour.
