Peach Cobbler 2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans (16 oz. each) Del Monte yellow cling sliced peaches, drained
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan; place peaches in bottom of pan and sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; set aside.
    Combine butter, egg and milk; stir in sifted dry ingredients; mix well.
    Spoon batter evenly over peaches; bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serve warm or cold with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
