Chinese Almond Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 egg
Preparation
    Sift all dry ingredients into large bowl.
    Cut in Crisco.
    Add egg.
    Add extract.
    Roll dough in tiny balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Press each ball with tip of baby finger.
    Dot each depression with red food coloring.
    Bake 10 to 15 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
