Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 unbeaten eggs
    nutmeats (optional)
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. butterscotch morsels
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
    Melt together butterscotch morsels and shortening.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and add vanilla.
    Mix dry ingredients to egg mixture and nutmeats if you wish.
    Bake in 13 x 9-inch greased pan at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cut while still warm.
