Yeast Donuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. lukewarm milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
7 to 7 1/2 c. flour, sifted
Preparation

Mix together milk, sugar and salt.
Crumble yeast into mixture. Add eggs and shortening (liquid).
Mix in flour.
Let rise until double in bulk.
Roll and cut out doughnuts.
Let stand 2 minutes before frying.
