Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 medium cukes
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. pickling spice
    4 pt. fluid
    1/2 tsp. alum (per jar)*
Preparation
    Cook all together until pickles are clear. Pack in hot jars and seal. Follow manufacturer's recommendation on lids and rings. Use canning jars only.
