Ingredients

5 or 6 carrots
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
some grated lemon rind or lemon juice to taste
Preparation

Scrape carrots; cut in 1-inch chunks and cook in small amount of water until barely tender.
Drain, if necessary.
Add butter or margarine, brown sugar and some grated lemon rind or lemon juice. Heat slowly, stirring occasionally until nicely glazed.
Makes 3 or 4 servings.
