Microwave Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box brown sugar (dark or light)
    1 half pint carton of heavy whipping cream (do not whip)
    1-2 c whole pecans
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    In a large (at least 10 cups) microwave safe bowl, mix brown sugar and cream until there are no big lumps.
    Put in the microwave, uncovered, on high for 11-14 minutes.
    Carefully remove the hot bowl and stir in softened butter, cut into 8-10 pats.
    Add pecans.
    Let sit for a minute to thicken, then drop by tablespoonfuls onto foil or waxed paper.
    Let cool.
