Au Gratin Potatoes And Peas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 stick butter
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 1/4 c. milk
1/4 lb. grated sharp cheese
3 c. diced cold potatoes
2 oz. jar pimento
10 oz. pkg. frozen peas, thawed and drained
Preparation

Melt butter in saucepan.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Reduce heat.
Add milk and stir.
Cook until thickens (white sauce).
Add cheese to sauce.
Stir until cheese melts.
Combine potatoes, peas and chopped pimento in a casserole dish.
Pour cheese sauce over potatoes.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Serves 6.
