Italian Cake With Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. cake flour (not sifted)
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    5 Tbsp. warm water
Preparation
    Beat eggs thoroughly; add sugar and beat well.
    Add flour, salt and baking powder.
    Fold in alternately with lemon extract and water.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    When cool, slice cake in half to make 2 layers.
