Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz. each) pkg. frozen broccoli spears
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 pkg. frozen pearl onions (optional)
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    salt and pepper
    1/3 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. bread crumbs (Progresso works well)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cook broccoli according to package directions; drain.
    In a small saucepan, combine cream cheese and 2 tablespoon of margarine and stir over medium heat until thick and smooth.
    Stir in milk until thick and bubbly. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and a dash of pepper.
    Fold in pearl onions, if you wish. Place broccoli in an 8 x 8-inch baking dish and pour cream cheese sauce evenly over the broccoli.
