Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (not margarine)
    1/2 c. shortening
    6 eggs
    3 c. cake flour
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.
    Sift flour and baking powder together and add alternately with buttermilk and vanilla.
    Bake in tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
