Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. butter flavor
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. sweet cooking chocolate
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, flavors and buttermilk. Sift together flour, soda and salt; mix well.
    Add melted chocolate (melt in warm oven or double boiler).
    Blend well together.
    Pour into 9-inch stem pan that has been well greased and floured.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours.
    Test with toothpick; if done, toothpick will come out clean (from cake center).
    Put cake under tight fitting cake cover while still hot. Leave covered until cool.
