Lemon Sponge Cake Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
1/4 c. butter, creamed
1 c. sugar
juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
1/8 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
2 egg yolks, well beaten
1 c. milk
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation

Mix thoroughly butter, sugar, lemon juice and rind, salt, flour or cornstarch, egg yolks and milk.
Beat egg whites stiff and fold in.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
