Easter Eggnog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 qt. whipping cream
    1 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    1 1/4 c. brandy
Preparation
    Beat cream about 1 1/2 cups at a time, until thick.
    Combine sugar and egg yolks and beat well.
    Blend into cream.
    Then blend in brandy.
    Beat egg whites until rounded peaks are formed and fold into cream mixture.
    It may require more sugar according to taste.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
