Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. oleo
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2/3 c. chopped pecans
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. raisins
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates
    1 box figs chopped
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. strawberry preserves
    1 c. applesauce
Preparation
    Cream sugar and oleo and add eggs; mix well. Roll in extra flour pecans, raisins, dates, figs, coconut, and add to mixture. Add flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla, and strawberry preserves and mix well. Mix soda with applesauce and then add to mixture. Bake in tube pan at 225 for 1 1/2 hours and then at 275 until done. Cool in pan 10 - 15 minutes and remove.
