Hash Brown Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. frozen hash browns, loose and thawed
    1/3 c. butter, melted
    4 oz. Colby cheese, shredded
    4 oz. baby Swiss cheese, shredded
    8 oz. diced ham or cooked bacon
    1/2 c. whole milk or 1 tsp. cream
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Press hash browns between toweling to remove moisture.
    Press into bottom of 9-inch pie plate or quiche pan.
    Drizzle with melted butter.
    Bake 25 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0. Remove from oven.
    Toss ham and cheese together.
    Pour over hash brown crust.
    Beat eggs with milk and salt.
    Pour over ham and cheese.
    Bake, uncovered 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until knife comes out clean near center.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    May use onion, green pepper or mushrooms.
