Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. unsalted butter
1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. apricot preserves
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
1 egg white, beaten
3 Tbsp. minced almonds
Preparation

Cream Cheese Pastry:
Mix flour and salt.
Cut in cold water to form small peas.
Mix in cream cheese with fork to form dough. Shape into 5 inch square and chill at least 1 hour.
Roll out dough to 12 inch square.
Cut into 36 two inch squares.
