Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) bag frozen Ore-Ida hash browns
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 pt. sour cream (16 oz.)
    2 c. Cheddar cheese (Sargento good brand)
Preparation
    Thaw potatoes overnight and go through to check for bad pieces.
    Once potatoes are defrosted, mix them with all ingredients in a big pan or bowl.
    Place in a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Melt 1/4 cup butter; mix with bread crumbs and sprinkle on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Excellent for buffet or to serve at a cookout.
    Serves 16.
