Chile Con Queso - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. Cheddar cheese
    2 medium tomatoes, peeled and seeded
    1 can mild jalapenos, rinsed
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter until tender, but not brown.
    Add diced tomatoes and jalapenos.
    Simmer for 10 minutes.
    Slowly add Cheddar cheese.
    Serve immediately over tortilla chips.
