Shirley'S Easy Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. sifted cake flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add
    eggs,
    one
    at a time. Beat well after each addition.
    Add sifted dry ingredients.
    Add vanilla and beat well.
    Bake in greased loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until
    cake
    tests done.
    Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes.
    Makes 8 servings.
