Tortilla Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs. ground chuck
    1 small onion, chopped
    3 cans of Green Chiles, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp pepper
    2 cans pinto beans
    2 small cans of Hominy
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 pkg. ranch dressing mix
    2 cans chopped tomatoes
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cook beef and onions in a saucepan on medium heat, until done. Drain fat and add the remaining ingredients to the saucepan.
    Cook together on medium heat about 15 - 30 minutes until it starts to thicken a little, stirring always to keep it from sticking.
    Eat with tortilla chips or flour tortillas (cut up).
