Earthquake Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. shredded coconut
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1 box German chocolate or butter pecan cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut into small pieces
1/2 c. butter
1 (16 oz.) box confectioners sugar
Preparation

Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle coconut and pecans evenly on bottom of pan. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Spread over nuts and coconut. In microwave-safe container, melt cream cheese and butter in microwave oven. Stir confectioners sugar into cream cheese mixture, mixing well. Spread over cake batter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until center is set and lightly browned.
