Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising corn meal
    1 scant tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 scant Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 beaten egg
Preparation
    Sift meal, flour, soda and sugar together.
    Mix with other ingredients and bake at 425\u00b0 until done, approximately 20 minutes. You can use an iron skillet if you want to.
