Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz ground beef
    1 c chopped onion
    1-7 1/2 oz can tomatoes
    1- 8 oz can tomato sauce
    1- 6 oz can tomato paste
    6 dried lasagna noodles
    1 beaten egg
    1- 15 oz container ricotta cheese or 2 c cottage cheese
    1/4 c parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat and onions (drain fat).
    Add tomato sauce, paste and tomatoes.
    Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Cook noodles for 10 - 12 minutes, drain and rinse with cold water.
    Combine egg, ricotta or cottage cheese and parmesan cheese.
    Layer 1/2 of the cooked noodles in a 2 qt rectangular baking dish.
    Spread
    1/2 of cheese mixture over noodles, then spread 1/2 of meat mixture over cheese.
    Repeat layers.
    Bake in 375 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until heated through.
    Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
