Pizza Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
    1/4 c. finely chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. sm. curd cottage cheese
    1 can pizza sauce
    1 sm. can tomato sauce
    1 can (2 1/2 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese
    2 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Cook macaroni in boiling water. Drain and rinse in cold water. Drain well. Saute onion in butter until transparent, but do not brown. Add ground beef and cook until all the red color disappears, breaking with fork until crumbly. Combine meat with remaining ingredients and mix well with well drained macaroni. Pour into lightly oiled 2 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Sprinkle the top with additional cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes or until hot and light brown on top. Serves 6.
