Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    4 eggs
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Melt butterscotch and butter in double boiler.
    Remove from heat.
    Combine eggs and sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to egg mixture.
    Stir well.
    Stir in butterscotch and pecans.
    Cook in lightly greased pan (15 x 10 x 1-inch) at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cool completely in pan.
    Cut in 2-inch squares.
    Makes 3 dozen.
    Freezes well.
