Vic'S Snickers Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 package german chocolate cake mix
    1 small package caramels
    1/2 cup butter
    1/3 cup milk
    6 ounces chocolate chips
    1 cup of nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Make cake as directed on box. Pour half the batter into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Melt caramels, butter and milk together. Pour over baked cake. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over caramel mixture. Pour the remaining cake batter over the top of all. Bake for an additional 20 minutes at 250\u00b0 and then 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
