Basic Fruit Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. fresh fruit (apple, pear, peach or berry) or 3 1/2 c. cooked chunky fruit
    3/4 c. sweet fruit juice (1/2 c. for peach and berry)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. coriander (for apple)
    2 Tbsp. honey
    2 Tbsp. arrowroot powder or cornstarch
Preparation
    Simmer
    apples
    or pears until tender.
    Add flavors and thickening.
    For
    peach or berry just combine juice and thickener. Stir
    until
    thick.
    Add
    fruit.
    If using cooked juicy fruit, add
    no juice, only flavors and thickening.
    Turn into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
