Bavarian Apple Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 c. peeled and sliced apples (such as McIntosh)
    1/4 c. sliced almonds
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients and beat.
    Add flour and blend well.
    Pat into the bottom of a 9-inch spring-form pan.
    Cream together the cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar.
    Mix in egg and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
    Add to pan as second layer.
    Combine sugar and cinnamon.
    Mix with apples until well coated.
    Add to pan. Sprinkle with almonds.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 400\u00b0 and bake an additional 25 minutes.
    Cool.
