Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 yellow cake mix
1 large can crushed pineapple
1 large can cherry pie filling (strawberry pie filling may be substituted)
1 c. chopped nuts
1 large box vanilla pudding
1 large container Cool Whip

Preparation

Cook the cake mix as directed and cool. Crumble a layer of cooled cake in a
punch bowl.
Mix the vanilla pudding as directed.
Spread pudding over crumbled cake.
Spread the pineapple with juice over the pudding. Add another layer of crumbled cake. Spread the pie filling over cake.
Layer the Cool Whip over top. Add the nuts over top.
