Easy Taco Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 jar salsa (approximately 12 oz.)
    1 large tomato, finely chopped
    8 oz. Cheddar cheese, finely shredded
    tortilla chips (preferably Tostitos brand)
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 green pepper, finely chopped
    1/4 head iceberg lettuce, finely chopped
    8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, finely shredded
Preparation
    Using a hand mixer, thoroughly mix sour cream and cream cheese.
    Spread mixture evenly over large, round, flat serving platter.
    Evenly layer the rest of the ingredients in the following order:
    salsa, green pepper, tomato, lettuce and Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese.
    Chill until ready to serve.
    Serve with tortilla chips.
