Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 can strawberries in syrup or 1 pkg. frozen strawberries
1 pkg. strawberry jello
1 pt. whipping cream
1 qt. vanilla ice cream

Preparation

Drain strawberries; reserve syrup.
Prepare jello as directed on box, using syrup as part of water.
Add strawberries to jello. When jello is almost firm, add ice cream, a little at a time, mixing with electric mixer.
Whip cream and fold into mixture. Place in freezer and serve when frozen.
