Christmas Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 c. chopped apples
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Crisco oil
4 c. sugar
4 tsp. soda
2 c. black walnuts
4 eggs, beaten
2 c. raisins

Preparation

Mix apples and sugar; let stand 1 hour.
Mix flour, soda and salt.
Add to apples and add vanilla, nuts, eggs and oil; mix together.
Bake in long or round pan, floured and oiled for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
